An essential member of the Giegling family, Leafar Legov makes the kind of warm and dreamlike music the label’s staked its reputation on. Before Giegling came to be, he was already splicing sounds in Hannover with Konstantin, his running mate as half of duo Kettenkarussell, the pair’s downtempo house becoming the emotional core of their label’s output. Solo, his focus draws together fuzzy ambient textures and playful rhythms, summery tunes that simmer with radiant feeling. His 2016 debut Talk EP epitomized his sound, followed by his debut album Mirror in 2020: an emotionally charged twelve tracker encompassing deep house and ambient that became one of the label's most cherished records.
